Iulian Faraoanu: La fede, via della giustizia nella Lettera ai Romani
The theme of this paper is a matter of faith, a way of human righteousness in front of God in the Epistle to Romans. After some premises that concern the confessional debates based on the epistle and its main theme, our attention will turn to the exegesis of Rom 3:21-26. The exegetic analysis will highlight the two important poles: on one side the righteousness of God, on other side the faith of the human genre. Than, it will be a discussion on the faith’s notion in his relationship with the divine righteousness, justify and the Law. The emphasized thesis is the following: God is righteous, faithful and merciful, through the sacrifice of Christ, it justifies in a free way the sinful man based on his faith. In the end shot conclusions and applications will be stated. It will be underlined the suited truth on which faith is an essential aspect of Christian identity. The same faith remains the opening door of salvation and of everylasting life.
